Challenges Faced by Canon Food Service Pty Ltd
Canon Food Service Pty Ltd. consumes an enormous amount of gas and electricity that translates to high energy costs.
Being a proud Australian owned company that supplies affordable, high-quality products, it is paramount to the business to keep all the production costs within their budget. With their site’s move to the Jandakot Airport Area where the electricity is already regulated, they needed to slash gas costs all while not undermining the quality standards of their products.

Energy Tender Review: Over the Years
2017
Canon Food Services Pty Ltd first engaged our energy tender service back in 2017. At that time Carbon energy negotiated both their Gas and Electricity tender and successfully achieved $ 5,414 savings compared to their energy rates at that time. This is equivalent to approximately 8% savings from their annual energy cost for both Gas and electricity consumption.
2018
Ever since the last tender, Canon Food Service Pty. Ltd. had outgrown their old premises and they decided to move and build their own premises in Jandakot, WA. We assisted them in the moving process, and at that time, they required the two sites running parallel in order to minimise interruptions to their business.
We assisted them in extending their current contracts at their old site for both Gas and Electricity and organised the new Gas contract for the new site.
Once Canon Food Service was ready to make the big move we arranged to have the Gas and Electricity finalised from their Canning Vale site, with final reads done for both gas and electricity and then the final bills sent. All Contracts allocated, signed and finalised for 2018 with Carbon Energy successfully saving them $ 159,096 or approximately 66% per annum for their energy consumption.
2020
In 2020 Carbon Energy once again trusted to negotiate a tender for Canon Foods gas contract renewal on their behalf. The gas Tender went off without a hitch and even when compared to the previous saving, Carbon Energy were able to save the company $13,044 or 13% per annum compared to their rates at that time.
